Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 12, 2026

1. Introduction

Axyle ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Axyle analytics platform, including the website at axyle.co and associated SDKs. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our services.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials (managed via our authentication provider). We may also store your name and profile information if you choose to provide it.

Analytics Data

When you integrate our SDK into your application, we collect analytics events on your behalf. This includes event names, timestamps, session identifiers, anonymous user identifiers, and any custom properties you choose to send. We act as a data processor for this information — you are the data controller.

Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you interact with our dashboard, including pages visited, features used, and general usage patterns. This helps us improve the product.

Payment Information

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details. We receive and store your subscription status and billing history from Stripe.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve our analytics platform
  • To process your transactions and manage your subscription
  • To send you service-related communications (e.g., billing, security alerts)
  • To respond to your support requests and inquiries
  • To detect, prevent, and address technical issues or abuse
  • To comply with legal obligations

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data with the following categories of third parties, solely to operate our service:

  • Infrastructure providers — hosting, database, and cloud services
  • Payment processors — Stripe for subscription billing
  • Authentication providers — for secure sign-in
  • Communication tools — when you connect integrations like Slack

We may also disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.

5. Data Retention

Analytics event data is retained according to your plan tier (14 days for Starter, 1 year for Pro, 3 years for Scale). Account information is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, secure authentication, and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict processing of your data
  • Export your data in a portable format

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].

8. End-User Data (Your App Users)

Our SDK provides a built-in opt-out mechanism that you can expose to your end users. When a user opts out, no analytics data is collected or transmitted. We do not collect personally identifiable information (PII) from your end users unless you explicitly send it as a custom property. We strongly recommend avoiding sending PII through analytics events.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on our website or sending you an email. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

11. Contact Us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or our data practices, contact us at [email protected].
